Jack & Jill's Hypochondriac's How-To for the Unfolding of Symptoms of Bird Flu

by Katharine Polenberg

Take one red paper pinwheel
Remove all the pins
Flatten the red paper with hot irony
Rest it stick-side-down in a glass tumbler of your urine (okay — now you should
have a "red flag" for all intents and purposes)
Place the tumbler on the sill of your open bathroom window ( this is now a red
flag — you see it? You have this one small window to see it in)
Feel the utter shame aroused in your gut because the stick in your piss has an
upright posture you cannot copy then crawl onto the windowsill and watch for the
next big wind and do yourself a favor — let yourself fall to your death and the
piss on the sill in the tumbler come tumbling after you sick dead fuck!
