Vinegar, Cardboard and Buddha
by Ananda Selah Osel
a time comes to
go deep into the
self
when that time
arrives
you'll break free of the
cardboard day
and vanish into
a horridness
not expected
the inner self is always
pulling finger nails in a
pool of vinegar
and so most
never go
and most who
go
never stay
and
this is what makes the
enlightened
so much stronger than
the rest
they've grabbed darkness
by the throat
and
are choking a little
light out
