I was around age 18
working in a factory
when this guy told a
buddy of mine

hey, nice dickey do

I paused for a moment
and then asked

what the fuck is a
dickey do

and the guy looked
over at me with a
straight face and said

that's when your belly
sticks out further than
your dickey do

I laughed and was
suddenly thrown into
a world of
wife-beaters
redneck jokes
cheap beer
rebel music
and the joys of
fucking ugly
women

and yes,

my dickey do
is coming along
rather nicely
