When I Ask Her

when I ask her
how she's doing and
she doesn't answer me
I don't know if it's
because
she doesn't hear me or
because
she's pissed at me
over something I've done and
just doesn't want to
talk to me anymore and
since I have no idea
which one it could be
I err on the side of
caution and
don't ask her again
but turn around and
without looking back
quickly walk away
